Jamaica has a wide variety of courses. In Ocho Rios there is the Upton Golf and Country Club. This par 71 course is known for its panoramic views and extravagant scenery and is considered one of the finest in Jamaica. Tel: 974-2528.

The 18 hole, par 71 course and clubhouse at the Sandals Golf and Country Club also takes advantage of the fantastic scenery for which Ocho Rios is known.

The Super Clubs Golf Club at Runaway Bay is another 18-hole par 72 championship course. There is also a driving range and practice greens. Tel: 973-2561

The Braco Village Resort and Golf Club is to the west of Runaway Bay on the North Coast Highway. This has a nine-hole par 28 course and club includes a putting green and driving range. TEL 876-954-0010

Staying on the North Coast Highway The Breezes Gold and Beach Resort.
has a par 72 championship course right across the road across from the resort. The course, which includes a clubhouse, restaurant and pro-shop has hosted the Jamaican Open.  876-973-2561

Further a field Montego Bay has four courses: at Wyndham, Rose Hall (par 72) Tel: 953-2655; Half Moon, (par 72) Tel: 953-3105; Ironshore (par 72) Tel: 953-2800 and Tryall, (par 71) Tel: 952-5110.

Kingston has two courses, Caymanas Golf Club (par 72) Tel: 997-8026 and Constant Spring Golf Club (par 70)
Tel: 924-1610.

Mandeville has the oldest course in Jamaica, the Manchester Country Club, with nine greens and 18 tee boxes, enabling you to play 18 holes. Tel: 962-2403. While Negril has the newest course on the island, Negril Hills Golf Club, (par 72) Tel: 957-4638. Caddies and club rentals can be arranged.
